City Council Accomplishments:
Worked to receive support for HB 1279 from the Texas Association of Builders and traveled to Austin to testify in person on behalf of the City to allow continued growth into the Tall Timbers/Liberty waste water certification area
Lobbied in Austin for our Hotel and Motel Sales Tax rebate of the State’s portion to aid our goal of debt free growth and fiscal responsibility. This will help achieve our goal for building a city conference center.
Strategically helped several neighborhoods in District 6 enter into development agreements to allow for growth that minimizes impact on existing neighborhoods
Personally met with many constituents to solve local issues and problems resulting in positive outcomes
